Kayastha marriage biodata format
Chitraguptavanshi Kayastha families are divided into twelve sub-castes, and the sub-caste is usually written right after the name. Many families keep the kundli details too. The sample below (made-up details) shows a simple, elegant layout.

Kayastha biodata: questions
Should I write the sub-caste?
Most Kayastha families do — for example “Srivastava” or “Mathur”. Some families marry across sub-castes and some prefer the same; write it and let the families decide.
Is gotra needed?
Only if your family follows gotra matching. Leave the field empty and it will not print.
Can I make it in English for relatives abroad?
Yes. Make it in Hindi, then switch the language to English in Design and download again; your details stay the same.
